Under Sky are popping up with a luxe camping hotel experience at Mount Zero Olives this April.

Three hours west of Melbourne, the dry, rocky landscape of the northern Grampians National Park is ideal olive-growing territory. The bio-dynamically farmed, family-run grove at Mount Zero Olives was planted in the region over 70 years ago and today produces some of the best Manzanilla and Gordal olives in the country, not to mention olive oil, pink lake salt and a handful of pulses and grains.

Under Sky.

Autumn is one of the most beautiful times of year at the grove, and Mount Zero has teamed up with luxury camping and outdoor specialists Under Sky to create a five-week pop-up camping hotel on the property. Under Sky will set up a collection of five-metre square canvas bell tents made by local label Homecamp, each kitted out with a plush bed (yes, that means mattress and all) laid with Hunting for George linen, soft towels, woven rugs and natural toiletries. Each spacious tent will also come supplied with an outdoor table and two chairs for sundowners and card games, as well as an Esky, cutlery and serving set.

Mount Zero surrounds.

You're welcome to bring your own supplies, but if you'd rather leave it to the team at the on-site Mount Zero café, they'll provide breakfast hampers to your tent each morning, and will also supply coffee, tea, a light lunch and take-away picnic hampers for those heading off to hike, rock climb or explore wineries in the area. On Friday nights the Under Sky team will cook wood-fired pizzas, and there'll be a communal fire-pit for guests to gather round on cool evenings. We can't think of many other places we'd rather be.

The Under Sky pop-up camping hotel at Mount Zero Olives will run from 31 March - 7 May  and reservations are now open. See undersky.com.au/#locations for more information and to book. Mount Zero Olives, 3/2a Holmwood Rd, Tottenham, Vic, mountzeroolives.com
