Hampshire's The Pig, set within the New Forest and sister to Lime Wood is having piglets.

Hampshire's The Pig, set within the New Forest and sister to Lime Wood, where chef Angela Hartnett is now based, is having piglets.
The Pig in the Wall has opened within the medieval walled city of Southampton. There are just 12 rooms, some set up in the Georgian building's eaves, and a deli counter stocked with simple snacks, many sourced from original Pig chef James Golding's impressive walled kitchen garden.
Should you wish to venture into the forest on a foraging tour or for something more substantial from Golding's no-more-than-25-miles-away menu, the Pig in the Wall runs a Land Rover shuttle between the two properties.
Next, a new piglet will be born in the Mendip Hills near Bath at the end of the year, followed by another sibling, The Pig on the Beach, in Dorset early in 2014. Rooms at The Pig in the Wall start from about $206.
