- 60 ml dark rum
- 20 ml lime juice (reserve the squeezed halves)
- 15 ml grenadine
- A dash of absinthe
- To top up: soda
- To garnish: mint sprigs and maraschino cherries

- 1Half-fill a tall glass with ice, add rum, lime juice, grenadine and absinthe and stir well to combine. Top up with soda, add reserved lime halves, garnish with mint sprigs, cherries and plastic monkeys or something similar and serve.
