GT's first hardcover cookbook is out now

As part of the magazine’s 50th birthday celebrations, Gourmet Traveller has released its first hardcover cookbook, Menus.

At Gourmet Traveller we've been sharing food inspiration for more than 50 years and, while we've published thousands of recipes and hundreds of cooking tips, we know that the most important ingredient of any meal is the company. So when it came to conceiving our first hardcover cookbook, we curated a collection of menus to be shared with friends.
"Gathering your nearest and dearest around the table is what the enjoyment of good food is all about," says editor Anthea Loucas Bosha, "and to cook for people you love is one of life's great joys."
Within the pages of Menus you'll find recipes for a Bondi clambake we threw with the team behind Sydney's The Bucket List, a gorgeous Christmas feast with Brigitte Hafner and the folks from Melbourne's Gertrude Street Enoteca, a hearty Blue Mountains harvest lunch (with rabbit broth and slow-roasted pork shoulder) by Sean Moran and a swish meal in Paris with chefs Shaun Kelly and James Henry. We crank up the tunes and hot foot it to Hollywood for a wild dinner party with the Aussies behind EP & LP, and head to the slopes for an après-ski lunch with the Three Blue Ducks crew.
Good food brings people together and good times are the result. These are some of our favourite recipes - we hope you enjoy sharing them with your family and friends as much as we enjoy sharing them with you.
Menus is on sale from 1 November, RRP$59.99, available where all good books are sold and at magshop.com.au
