Fire-up the stove, tie on your favourite apron and let’s get cooking, food fans. This year’s line-up is brimming with talent.

After last year’s smash success, Gourmet Institute returns for another year. The nation’s top chefs are here to share their secrets and the experiences they’ve gained working at the cutting edge of Australian gastronomy. They’re keeping it real, keeping it tasty and keeping the focus on helping you take home new skills and ideas to take your cooking at home to the next level. The Gourmet Institute is all about cooking that’s smart, fresh and flavoursome in an atmosphere that’s fun, friendly and conversational. Come along, enjoy some snacks and a drink, meet like-minded food lovers, have some laughs and learn how to tune up your kitchen for higher-performance thrills along the way.

Kicking off the series is David Thompson, who’ll show you how to translate the fiery flavours of Long Chim into a Thai banquet at home. Other highlights include chef Paul Carmichael of Australia’s number-one restaurant, Momofuku Seiobo, who will share his tips for Caribbean cooking. Bethany Finn will share recipes for a perfect high tea, while George Calombaris will reveal his take on Greek desserts including classic loukoumades and rizogalo. Find the full line-up below, and see the Gourmet Institute website for more info. See you there.
